If It Isn't Love (Low Key Mix) ((NEW))

Written and produced by Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis, the song spoke of a man who left a troubling relationship because he didn't want to fall in love, only to find out that he was in fact in love with his former girlfriend but is still in a dilemma over it: if it isn't love/why do I feel this way/why does she stay on my mind? The song has a memorable breakdown similar to that of The Jackson 5, where lead singer Ralph Tresvant admits that he made a mistake and he realizes he does love her, though his resolve is crushed as his bandmates then retort: You love her, what?! Though he is optimistic that he will get her back.

If It Isn't Love (Low Key Mix)

One quick note: The resulting dessert isn't all that sweet, which I feel most people either love or kind of hate. (Pumpkin purée is unsweetened, folks!) If you fall into the latter camp, I'd recommend mixing 1/4 cup of packed light brown sugar into the cinnamon roll, pumpkin, and spice mixture to give it some added sweetness.

But as the pop world goes, One Direction couldn't let Biebs have all the fun. They have a fragrance now called Our Moment, which, you guessed it, is also a fruity floral musky light with just a touch of patchouli. They got all emo and made a black and white film about it, but if you look past that, the stuff isn't bad. It's definitely meant for the American Eagle-rocking set (I mean, the non-28-year-old-grad-student kind, not those of us who rock American Eagle now...coughcough), but again -- not horrible at all.

There are few places on Earth as romantic as the Carribean islands. Maybe it's the warm, enveloping sun, or the white sand beaches and crystal clear waters, or the gentle breezes that blow through at just the right time, whatever it is, this part of the world was pretty much made for lovers.

Some islands have become real tourist hotspots, leaving lovers yearning for quiet, peace, and serenity during their Carribean stays. Not everyone heads down for the parties and the cocktails! For those couples who love the Carribean, but don't enjoy the bustle that comes along with a vacation to the Bahamas, Jamaica or the Dominican Republic, these five lesser-known islands serve as the perfect mix of travel fun and low-key lovers paradise.

Vacationers looking to the Carribean for their ultimate couples getaway often overlook the little island of Dominica because there isn't a ton happening here. Hurricane Maria did a real number on the tiny paradise, and even before that, this island never really showed up on the list of touristy islands in the Carribean. You won't find tons of inclusive hotels and restaurants lining the beaches on Dominica, but what you will find is tranquil beauty and natural space that almost feels undiscovered. There isn't much that's more romantic than having a beach like this all to you and your honey.

Grenada is known as the spice island, and it might be just the low-key island to spice up any relationship. This West Indies island is one of the most stunning spaces in the entire world with its white sand beaches and perfectly blue waters. There is literally no way a couple can come here and not fall in love with the island and more in love with each other. Grenada is more accessible than ever now that the major airline Jetblue has created a direct flight right from new York to paradise. We don't think Grenada will stay low key for long, so it might be a great time to experience it now before everyone catches on to its awesomeness.

Who doesn't love pad sounds? They can fill up the mix, glue elements together, and support vocals and strings in the mid and low ranges. But, for all this goodness, they can be a pain when it comes to mixing, and they often leave many producers scratching their heads, wondering how to mix pads properly.

Space is not only shared in frequencies but also in time. We all love low-end and I see people getting a little bit too excited and have way too much decay on all their sounds down there, which means a lot needs to be removed. The shorter the sounds, the clearer your low-end will feel. You can do that with Shaperbox 2 but also with the very useful mTransientMB that can help you make super punchy sounds.

If you love Laneige's traditional lip sleeping mask, meet its cool younger sister. This is essentially the sleeping mask but in a lighter formula you can wear all day long. This is ideal to put on your lips before your makeup routine to let it moisturize your lips while you do your thing.

This product isn't as new as the others on this list, but it's so genius that we had to include it. This is essentially a mix between an eye cream and eye primer, ensuring that concealer and powder blend in perfectly under your eyes. It's the same lovely texture as the cult-favorite Vitamin Enriched Face Base from the brand, so if you love that product, you'll definitely swoon over this too.

As mentioned earlier, programmers love to detune Partials or oscillators to give sounds a thickening chorus effect, which can sometimes cause bass sounds to feel off-key, but I've also experienced problems with bass sounds that use two identical waveforms programmed to have different envelope dynamics, causing some notes to be cancelled out and others to be doubled up. Make sure that none of these programming tricks are damaging the effect of the bass.

Adele is the patron saint of powerhouse ballads, and "Someone Like You" ranks up there with her very best. Adele's voice can soar on top of a 30-piece orchestra, but here she's accompanied by a simple piano part as she addresses an ex who has moved on and found new love.

The intra-band romantic drama that fueled Fleetwood Mac's historic Rumors record is well documented, but even before its 1977 release, they were penning love songs that stuck to your ribs. One such track was "Landslide," a gorgeous, lilting showcase for singer Stevie Nicks about how love, in all its forms, never stays static.

Carole King's landmark 1971 album Tapestry is filled with gorgeous, poignant songs about heartbreak brought to life through King's vivid lyricism. "It's Too Late" was one of the album's most popular tracks. It captures the point at the end of a relationship where there simply isn't much left to say. Both people have tried their best, but it's just not meant to be.

The title track of Lizzo's breakout album sees the multitalented musician indulging her inner diva. From the opening line, she's belting as powerfully as she ever has, channeling the spirit of Aretha and Whitney. Much of Lizzo's music explores her own sense of self-worth and independence, but on "Cuz I Love You" she opens up about what she'll do for love.

Sam Smith has written plenty of songs about the bluer side of romance, but their hit single "Stay With Me" goes to a different place. The track is somewhere between booze-fueled longing and sober honesty. Smith knows that the connection they share with the song's subject is nothing like true love, but still a favorable alternative to isolation.

With the help of producer Salaam Remi, Amy Winehouse made "Tears Dry on Their Own," a modern spin on the long lineage of Motown's sad love songs. It even flips Marvin Gaye and Tami Terrell's "Ain't No Mountain High Enough."

The track is vintage Cash. It's a masterclass in storytelling, as he stumbles upon a dying man by the railroad tracks who, in his final moments, tells Cash to go see his beloved Rose and their son. He even expresses that he wants his wife to find a new person to love.

"You're in a relationship because you need help, but that's not necessarily why you should be in a relationship. And that's skinny. It doesn't have weight," Bon Iver's Justin Vernon told Pitchfork about the song. "Skinny love doesn't have a chance because it's not nourished.

Beyoncé set aside the delicate love songs with "Irreplaceable," a chart-topping ode to knowing your worth and not letting anyone try to lower it. The song plays as a prelude to some of her meatier work on Beyoncé and Lemonade, and sees her sending an unfaithful former flame out the door expeditiously.

Few A-listers are as good at lost love ballads as Bruno Mars, who has topped charts and made eyes water with songs like "Talking to the Moon," "It Will Rain," and "When I Was Your Man." The latter is perhaps the best of the lot, inspired by '70s piano ballads like The Commodores' "Still," and featuring one of Mars' most searing hooks.

It acts as an antidote to the neutrality of the rest of the colors and you can use it to bring in stripes and checks in the form of cushions and throws and finish off with an antique rug. We love the calm created by the look in this bohemian bedroom by Kate Lester Interiors (opens in new tab). 041b061a72
